Founded in 1889, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board counts as its members more than 8,000 professionals engaged in all sectors of the industry. One of the local boards of the National Association of REALTORS® (the largest trade association in North America), BOMA International and the National Apartment Association, GBREB is considered unique nationally due to its varied membership base. The Board also has five major divisions which are:

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Boston – (BOMA Boston) –  was founded in 1917 and represents commercial real estate professionals in Greater Boston who own, manage or service the developing and built real estate environment.

The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) is committed to providing relevant educational programs, promoting professionalism and cooperation, and creating an atmosphere where knowledge and ideas are easily exchanged.
gbar fade icon The Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) represents approximately 6,000 real estate professionals in 900 real estate firms in eastern Massachusetts.
REF fade icon The Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) is a commercial real estate trade association formed to bring together the best people, knowledge, and experience to provide informative programs and networking opportunities for commercial real estate finance professionals throughout the Greater Boston area.
RHA fade icon The Rental Housing Association (RHA), an affiliate of the National Apartment Association, consists of over 525 members who own, manage, develop or supply goods and services to multi-family properties in Massachusetts.
